When I first heard of this super-group I had thought, “These four men could easily make one of the best rock albums of all time”. They had the talent and the experience to do so. However, when I listened to their first single, “Kind of a Girl”, I was surprised to learn that the rock sound I had anticipated was not coming out of speakers but instead, was this fun pop song. I didn’t love it at first but I couldn’t get it out of my head.
